The top note is just way too synthetic for me, smells like rubber, where as the OG has this beautiful opening.
The dry down hits it almost identical to the OG though so a solid 4/5 for me, nice job !

Try Oud Wood again when your nose is not affected by other fragrances and you may find that the top note is not as synthetic as you first thought.

The Best Oud Wood Inspired Fragrance
I'd wear this over the original. I was instantly surprised by the quality and how close it gets to the classic scent. It holds the initial notes longer through the dry down without being too heavy or synthetic, which you tend to get with other, more expensive takes on the scent profile. The atomiser also projects really well!
Where the original lasts around 2 hours for me, one spray on my wrist was projecting for at least double the time. I can't fault it and feel like I've discovered a hidden gem. I bought the 15ml but will be buying the 50ml while I can.
