Belgravia, inspired by the legendary Rive Gauche, is a classic barbershop fragrance built around the unmistakable scent of rich shaving cream, aromatic lavender and warm spices.
Some fragrances never really disappear. They simply become impossible to find.
Rive Gauche became one of those fragrances. Long after it was discontinued, people were still searching for something that captured the same smooth, creamy barbershop character that made it such a favourite.
For me, it was one of the fragrances that completely changed how I thought about "fresh." Up until then, fresh had always meant bright citrus and sharp cleanliness. Rive Gauche showed me there was another way. Smooth, creamy and comforting, while still feeling unmistakably clean.
Belgravia captures that perfectly. It opens fresh and aromatic before settling into the rich scent of traditional shaving cream, warm spices and polished woods. It's less about citrus and more about the feeling of stepping out of a proper old-school barbershop.
Who Would Wear Belgravia?
During my time working with Executive Shaving, I came to appreciate just how much this style of fragrance means to the traditional wet shaving community. Countless aftershaves and shaving soaps have tried to recreate that unmistakable barbershop character, but very few ever truly captured it.
The moment I sampled Belgravia, I knew the perfumer had got it right.
Rive Gauche earned its reputation for a reason. Belgravia captures everything that made it special, bringing that classic barbershop style back for a new generation.
Classic. Confident. Timeless.
